Terms of Service

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Before you access our services, please read these terms of service ("Terms") which govern your access to and use of the services, including but not limited to the websites, applications, products, network virtualization engines, multi-vendor device emulation, packet diagnostics engines, tools, content, and documentation (collectively, the "Services"), provided by Simneta ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and us.

1. Application and Acceptance of the Terms

Please carefully read these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, and all other documents referenced in these Terms. By using or accessing our Services (including without limitation by opening the Simneta Web Simulator Canvas or running diagnostic simulations), you agree to be bound by the prevailing version of these Terms, as may be updated from time to time.

If you are accessing or using the Services on behalf of an educational institution, university, enterprise, or legal entity, then you represent and warrant that you are an authorized representative with the authority to bind the entity to these Terms.

2. Account Registration and Security

To access personalized lab workspaces, cloud saving, and collaborative labs, you may need to register for a Simneta account. When creating your account, you must provide accurate, up-to-date information and maintain its confidentiality.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access or compromise of your account, you must notify us immediately at hello@simneta.com.

3. Educational & Simulation Sandbox Use

Simneta provides in-browser virtualization for educational learning, certification preparation (e.g. MTCNA, MTCRE, Cisco CCNA), and network architecture modeling.

All virtual routers, switches, and packets emulate in a client-side sandbox environment. You agree not to utilize Simneta services for conducting denial-of-service tests, port scanning of non-simulated real-world hosts, or any unlawful network interference.

4. User Labs and Intellectual Property

Network labs, configuration scripts, and architectures authored within your private account remain your intellectual property. When you explicitly share a lab template, you grant other Simneta community members a non-exclusive license to fork, simulate, and study the scenario for non-commercial educational purposes.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While our RouterOS emulation accurately models core routing, firewall NAT, and DHCP logic, users are responsible for testing generated scripts in staging environments prior to production hardware deployment. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Simneta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
